The Department of Accounting, Finance, and Economics offers the Master of Accounting degree. Students in this degree program will acquire the knowledge and hours required to sit for the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) exam, as well as a strong sense of accounting principles and business applications.

Agricultural and Consumer Resources, M.S.

The Master of Science Degree in Agricultural and Consumer Resources is specifically designed for those who have completed an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Services and Development. The major objective is to increase the professional competence of teachers of agriculture, extension agents, and others pursuing professional agricultural careers.

Agricultural Communication, B.S.

The Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication focuses on the communication and marketing aspects of the agriculture industry. Providing the student with both agricultural and communication knowledge and skills for exciting careers in agricultural publications, radio, livestock organizations, commodity groups, and governmental agencies that provide communication and information.

Agricultural Economics, M.S.

The Masters of Science in Agricultural Economics allows students to gain a deeper knowledge of a chosen career field and further develop analytical skills in agricultural economics, business planning, credit and finance, and resource allocation in production and marketing in production agriculture and agribusiness.

Animal Science, M.S.

The Bachelor of Science in Animal Science provides a strong foundation in animal science courses, and places emphasis on courses based on the student’s concentration choice: Science, Production, Business, Meat and Food Science; Range and Ranch Management; and Pre-veterinary Medicine.

Applied Psychology, M.S.

Tarleton State University now offers a Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology. Upon successful completion of the degree coursework, students will be prepared for entry into a professional position in a variety of areas, or will be able to pursue doctoral study in psychological sciences.

Art, B.F.A.

The Bachelor of Fine Art in Studio Arts provides a learning environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and technological expertise. Tarleton offers a BFA degree with options for Studio art or all-level teacher certification.

Athletic Training, M.S.A.T.

The Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) is an entry-level degree for students wanting to become certified and licensed athletic trainers. The program combines both classroom and clinical experiences in order to provide in-depth knowledge as well as hands on application and skill development.

Biology, B.S.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Biology provides a broad range of learning opportunities designed to prepare students for entrance into a variety of biologically oriented graduate programs or for a career in the biological sciences. A teacher certification option is available in the program to teach at the secondary level.

Biology, M.S.

The graduate degree offered in the Department of Biological Sciences is intended to enrich and enhance education in biological sciences in order to prepare students for leadership roles in industrial, educational and research-oriented careers.
