Civil Engineering, B.S.

The Civil Engineering degree program administered by the School of Engineering is a new and rapidly growing degree program at Tarleton. This program prepares students to develop innovative solutions related to our infrastructure, including analysis and design of structural, transportation and geotechnical systems.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling, M.S.

The M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree consists of coursework that satisfies the academic course requirements for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Texas. Students with a teaching certificate and two years teaching experience have the option to take coursework that gives them eligibility for the TExES school counseling certification test in order to become a Professional School Counselor. The Counseling faculty genuinely care for students by offering classes in the evenings, on weekends, online, and hybrid to meet the busy demands of a career and family.

Communication Studies, B.A.

Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies provides concentrations in Journalism and Broadcasting, Public Relations and Event Management, and Professional and Relational Communication that are offered on select campuses. Only the Professional and Relational Communication concentration is offered on the Fort Worth campus.

Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies provides concentrations in Sports Communication, Travel, Event , Activity Management, Journalism and Broadcasting, Public Relations and Social Engagement, and Professional and Relational Communication that are offered on select campuses. Only the Professional and Relational Communication concentration is offered on the Fort Worth campus.

Computer Science, B.S.

The Computer Science degree program managed by the School of Engineering prepares graduates to enter the high-tech work force or pursue graduate studies in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or related disciplines. This program provides a strong foundation in hardware and software, with specialization opportunities in Digital Media (Game Design), Robotics, Mathematics and Sciences.

Construction Science and Management, B.A.S

Construction graduates gain knowledge valued by all facets of the construction industry: structural systems, soils, site development, surveying, contract administration, building modeling, estimating, scheduling, and evaluating project performance. Students graduating with the B.A.S. in Construction Science and Management possess the skills and knowledge to compete in a regional, national, and international job market.
