Aimed for those passionate about public service, the program equips students with knowledge and skills across a wide range of topics related to governance, policy, and leadership in the public sector. Public Administration is projected to be one of the fastest growing segments of the employment market over the next 10 to 15 years, with careers in the public sector, including nonprofits and non-governmental organizations providing public goods and services. Students capitalize on their motivation to serve the public, and making a difference in neighborhoods, communities and beyond.
Opportunities will exist among a list of public sector organizations from city, county to state, nonprofits and NGOs.
Texan Corps of Cadets
The Texan Corps of Cadets are instilled with values that are essential for the service of our nation, and are exceptionally qualified to succeed in several areas of business, government, and the military. Corps members can benefit from scholarships, corporate internships, and graduation reward opportunities, as well as with the option to minor in Leadership Studies.
ROTC is the world’s premier leadership development program and is the largest commissioning source for the United States Army. ROTC Scholarship Programs enable qualified students to complete their degree plan of choice along with a Military Science curriculum and commission as a 2nd Lieutenant into the United States Army.
