Overview
A Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art provides you with a wide range of opportunities, from earning your Teacher Certification to an emphasis in Digital Media Studies. While participating in the program, you will have the opportunity to study an array of artistic styles in areas of drawing, painting, and digital media. You will also gain some background in certain areas of sculpture, printmaking, digital design, and photography.
Our program offers small class sizes, beautiful facilities with multiple resources, and the opportunity to exhibit your work in the university showroom. In addition, as a student in this program, you will have the opportunity to visit various art galleries and museums in the DFW Metroplex.

More About the Program
The Department of Fine Arts sponsors two student exhibits a year - one at the end of each semester. There is also a student-run gallery that is organized by the Tarleton Art Society. In addition to the regular exhibits, student work is displayed in several parts of the building.
