Overview
This is an advanced degree program that provides students with coursework and experiential learning opportunities in specialized areas of animal production. Students will complete a semester-long internship in the animal industry to develop advanced animal/livestock management skills.

More About the Program
Students are required to successfully complete either the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS) examination or the American Meat Science Association (AMSA) certification exam as a condition for program completion. These nationally recognized examinations are administered and proctored by their respective organizations. Students will be permitted multiple attempts to achieve a passing score.
