Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does this program automatically give me six sigma or project management certification?

Most certifications are managed by independent organizations and must be applied for outside of the MS in QEM program. Graduating with a degree in this program helps prepare you for the certification exam and in some cases helps meet some of the additional requirements needed to apply.
  • Does this program guarantee an internship?

There is not a guarantee of an internship with the MS QEM program, but faculty have been leaders in major DFW industrial companies. The DFW area is strong for construction and industrial projects giving graduates an ideal environment for networking opportunities at Tarleton State and surrounding areas.
